Process work

The initial process for my body of work involved experimenting with cartridge inks and coffee. The first two images were created by pouring different coloured inks on the glass of the scanner machine. I closed the printer lid and printed on white paper. What was produced was a “brain bleed” scan like  – Trauma in the brain. The last image was produced differently. The process began with dropping inks on paper and followed with spraying bleach water. I turned the paper around where  vibrant colours  exposed the dark as weblike structures. The image inspired the trauma bodies I created for the final body of works.
